A Spark of change at Chembalode Anganwadi
The Oleevia Foundation brought fresh energy to Chembalode Anganwadi through Project Ujjwal, a unique life-skills initiative under the Sashakt Bachpan Project and Gyaan Initiative. The session was designed exclusively for adolescent children, focusing on emotional wellness and the power of leadership—planting seeds of strength and self-awareness in young minds.
In the first session, Gautam Ramakrishnan, Psychologist and Chief Project Manager, led the children on a thoughtful journey into understanding stress. Through hands-on activities and relatable examples, he helped them learn how to face pressure with a calm mind, teaching that stress isn’t an enemy—but a signal for self-care and courage. The second half of the program explored what it means to lead. With the ever-energetic Project Coordinator Sreeja guiding fun leadership games and group reflections, children uncovered their hidden abilities to guide, support, and influence others. The session showed that true leadership begins not in a title—but in actions, attitude, and empathy.
At Chembalode Anganwadi, this project wasn’t just a session—it was a celebration of possibility. By blending psychology with play, and insight with interaction, Oleevia Foundation created a safe, joyful space for children to reflect and rise. Every smile, question, and shared moment marked progress. As these young changemakers return to their communities, they carry forward not just lessons—but the light of belief in themselves. The Foundation remains committed to nurturing that spark in every child, one session at a time.
