Oleevia Foundation conducted Onam celebration in St.Joseph’s Special School, Cheroor, Thrissur
The Oleevia Foundation, under the leadership of CMD Sri Krishnakumar K T, organized a vibrant Onam celebration at St. Joseph’s Special School in Cheroor, Thrissur, in collaboration with the Mimicry Artists Association Thrissur (MAAT). This event was a heartfelt initiative to spread joy among the school’s students and staff while celebrating Kerala’s rich cultural heritage. The festivities brought together the mimicry artist community and the foundation’s team to foster a sense of unity and cultural pride. By hosting this event at a special school, the Oleevia Foundation highlighted its commitment to social causes, creating a memorable experience that strengthened community bonds and showcased the spirit of Onam.
During this Onam celebration, the Oleevia Foundation announced a significant initiative to support the financial security of mimicry artists by providing each member of MAAT with a ₹5 lakh sum-assured insurance premium. Recognizing that many mimicry artists face financial instability due to irregular income sources, this scheme serves as a vital safety net, enabling them to pursue their craft without the burden of unforeseen expenses. Led by CMD Sri Krishnakumar K T, this pioneering effort underscores the foundation’s dedication to uplifting the mimicry artist community in Thrissur. By integrating this announcement with the Onam festivities, the Oleevia Foundation effectively raised awareness about the insurance scheme while demonstrating its holistic approach to combining cultural engagement with social responsibility.
