In a significant step towards fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in the North Eastern region, our foundation's CEO, Shri Ajitkumar Varma, participated in the North East Startup and Entrepreneurs Conclave held in Guwahati, Assam. The conclave, a premier event in the region, brought together entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss and promote the startup ecosystem.
The event was organized by NECTAR, with the aim of providing a platform for startups to showcase their innovations, connect with potential investors, and gain insights from industry experts. The conclave featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, startup pitches, and networking sessions, covering a wide range of topics relevant to the startup ecosystem.
Our CEO delivered a keynote address on the theme of "Empowering Startups for Sustainable Development," emphasizing the critical role of startups in driving economic growth and social impact. The speech highlighted our foundation's commitment to supporting entrepreneurship through funding, mentorship, and capacity-building initiatives. Specific examples of successful startups supported by our foundation were shared, showcasing their journey and impact.
During the panel discussions, our CEO participated in a session on "Challenges and Opportunities for Startups in the North East," where insights were shared on the unique opportunities presented by the region's rich cultural heritage, natural resources, and skilled workforce. The discussion also addressed the challenges faced by startups, such as limited access to capital, infrastructure constraints, and market connectivity. The winners were awarded seed funding, mentorship opportunities, and access to networking resources.
