As part of our ongoing efforts to promote health and hygiene in educational institutions, our foundation installed a state-of-the-art water purifier at Shree Valluvanad Vidya Bhavan School in Perinthalmanna, Kerala. Access to clean and safe drinking water is essential for the well-being of students and staff, and this initiative aims to ensure that everyone at the school has access to purified water. The installation project was carried out in close coordination with the school administration, which identified the need for a reliable water purification system. The school, with over 500 students and staff members, previously faced challenges related to water quality, with frequent instances of waterborne illnesses affecting the health and attendance of students. Our foundation procured a high-capacity water purifier with advanced filtration technology capable of removing contaminants and pathogens, ensuring safe drinking water. The installation was carried out by a team of experts, who also conducted a thorough inspection of the school's existing water supply infrastructure to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. To mark the completion of the installation, a formal inauguration ceremony was held at the school, attended by students, staff, and representatives from our foundation. The event began with a welcome address by the school principal, who expressed gratitude for the foundation's support and highlighted the positive impact this initiative would have on the school community. During the ceremony, our foundation's CEO emphasized the importance of clean drinking water for maintaining good health and enhancing academic performance. A demonstration of the water purifier's functionality was conducted, educating students and staff about the benefits of purified water and the importance of maintaining the equipment. In addition to the installation, our foundation organized a series of awareness sessions on water hygiene and sanitation for the students. These sessions covered topics such as the importance of drinking clean water, proper handwashing techniques, and the prevention of waterborne diseases. Educational materials and posters were also distributed to reinforce these messages.
